Allegations

This is either one of the most shocking scandals in entertainment history,
that particularly this person has been wrongly accused of child molestation,

or

it is one of the most monstrous acts imaginable, that particularly this person who has
written more about children’s happiness than anybody else has actually abused them.

MJ privately owned porn magazines (11/2003)

He did own a range of other related materials. These were books/magazines about:

  • art
  • photography – with naked adults and children
  • the human body/nudist – with both adults and children
  • vintage art/photography/nudist

You will find a further examination of art/photography books he owned with photos here.1https://themichaeljacksonallegationsblog.wordpress.com/2016/12/27/has-child-pornography-ever-been-found-in-michael-jacksons-possession/

Disclaimer: We didn’t put this up to offend anyone’s sensibilities, but to state the facts.

The court found that he

did not own child porn2Images of child pornography are not protected under First Amendment rights, and are illegal contraband under federal law. Section 2256 of Title 18, United States Code, defines child pornography as any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor […] Notably, the legal definition of sexually explicit conduct does not require that an image depict a child engaging in sexual activity. A picture of a naked child may constitute illegal child pornography if it is sufficiently sexually suggestive. If he did, he would have been procecuted as such.3Source: https://www.justice.gov/criminal/criminal-ceos/citizens-guide-us-federal-law-child-pornography

Tom Mesereau about MJ’s porn collection and the prosecution

The prosecution in my opinion didn’t know what to do with the fact that they found ten years worth of magazines – Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler – at Neverland. Which would suggest that Michael Jackson was heterosexual, interested in seeing pictures of beautiful women who were naked. They weren’t quite sure how to fit that into their theory that he was a pedophile. So they came up with the notion that a pedophile will take magazines like this to somehow groom the alleged victim.

Adult Porn to groom

scientific Studies

Definition of grooming:4Grooming is the psychological process predators always have used to encourage children to engage in sexual activity5Grooming usually involves normalizing sexualized behavior in the offender-child relationship by introducing increasingly intimate physical contact by the offender toward the victim, very gradually sexualizing the contact, and sometimes using child pornography to break down the child’s barriers.

This gradual process and the relationship of trust and authority that the offender usually holds over the child, along with the child’s immaturity and subservience, serves to break down the child’s resistance. These children have a difficult time understanding what is happening to them and why and have very little control over their circumstances. https://www.justice.gov/psc/docs/natstrategyreport.pdf

How many child sexual offenders use adult porn to groom?

Lang and Frezel (1988) found that:

10%

of pedophilic offenders showed pornographic magazines or videos to their victims as part of the grooming process.

Langevin and Curnoe (2004) found that out of cases [including sexual offenses against adults; JS], only 17% had used pornography before or after the offense, supporting findings by extant literature that pornography plays a minor role in sexual offenses.6https://academicworks.cuny.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1325&context=jj_etds

Wolak et al. (2004) found that only 9% of child sexual offenses via Internet include grooming with adult porn.7“(in) Internet-initiated sex crimes […] 9% of offenders sent the victim adult pornography, and 10% of offenders sent the victim child pornography.” https://www.justice.gov/psc/docs/natstrategyreport.pdf
