M: […] I told this girl – Jackie saw her when we were on stage (I). I told this girl, I said, “Don’t go with Jackie.” He found out and he went backstage and stuff and I said, “Don’t go with him, please don’t go with him.”

She’s like, “Why?” I said, “Please don’t go with him, he’s gonna hurt you.” So, she went. She met him. She was a virgin. And he had sex with her and stuff like that. And in the limo, we were in the limo. And they were gonna take this girl home.

Like, I said, “Why did you do that? Why you didn’t just listen to me? Why did you do that? Why did you go with him?” And she was just crying. I said, “Did he hurt you?” and she said, “No. But he told me after we had sex that he never wanted to see me again.” I said, “Why did you go with him? I told you backstage don’t go with him.”

Sexual Abuse I

Reaction to Child Molestation in own family

Taj about Michael Jackson reaction to molestation

CONTEXT: Our uncle Michael wrote this note after my brother and I were molested as kids by an uncle on our mother’s side of the family. We immediately told our mom about it when we saw her the following morning. Little did we know, our mom would hide the abuse from our dad (who would have definitely taken matters and justice into his own hands) and privately confided in our uncle Michael. This note was his response to her.

The note was found in a storage vault in the early 2000s when a Jackson family member forgot to pay the bill. The vault’s inventory was seized and D.A. Sneddon looked through it all. This particular note became a point of public interest and was attempted to be used against Jackson, as some people believed the note was being confessional. Jackson chose to remain silent on the matter.

We can not know why he did not talk about the note’s content. But if he revealed what it was really about he would have to expose his own nephews had been victims of sexual abuse. Whether deliberate or not, Michael’s silence guaranteed the emotional safety of his nephews and risked his own reputation.

Sexual Abuse II

Do You Know Where Your Children Are

Song lyrics:

She wrote that she is tired of stepdaddy using her
Saying that he’ll buy her things while sexually abusin’ her

According to a note left by Jackson, the song is “about kids being raised in a broken family where the father comes home drunk and the mother is out prostituting and the kids run away from home and they become victims of rape, prostitution and the hunter becomes the hunted”

The song was originally recorded during the Bad recording sessions in 1986, and subsequently revisited during sessions for the Dangerous album in 1990.1https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Do_You_Know_Where_Your_Children_Are_(song)

This song which is marked by worry and fear for kids, that notably contains the words “sexually abusing her”, was written seven years before the first allegation.2MJWiki: “Do You Know Where Your Children Are” is heavily debated within the fan community whether the released demo originates from the Bad or Dangerous sessions. Multiple sources seem to contradict each other, as the Xscape booklet or Jackson’s estate only confirms that the song was intended for the aforementioned albums, but doesn’t give away specific dates. However, the version featured on Xscape is most likely the 1986 recording, as mentioned by Bill Bottrell. https://michael-jackson.fandom.com/wiki/Do_You_Know_Where_Your_Children_Are
